BEST WAY TO GET GEARS FROM UNION COINS
While trying to acquire more gears, many players have looked at the union store and wondered which is a better value: buying a union container for 150 union coins, or a union parts box for 50 union coins?
The easy way to answer this question is to imagine we were to purchase 100 containers and sell all 100 trains, how many gears would we expect to receive?
Then, lets imagine we spent the same number of coins to purchase union parts boxes, we would buy 300 boxes.
Now, we can compare the two results, and see which one gives up more gears in the long run. It turns out, it depends on what type of gear we care the most about!
- For legendary, epic, and union gears, the best choice is to buy containers
- For rare and common gears, however, you're better off buying parts boxes.
*Please note, this assumes you are selling every train that you open in the containers, as the goal here is to collect gears to upgrade trains you already own. The numbers in the table are based on Region 4 trains and parts boxes
